Early Years

As parents and carers we are the first educators of our children in helping them to learn about their environment and develop their learning potential.  This early years learning is vital for a young child to be able to have the pre-requisite skills to learn how to learn and integrate in their family and society.

Who is it for?

  • Babies and toddlers with specific needs
  • Parents, carers and pre-school and nursery teachers (Early Years Practitioners)

What does it include?

  • Initial observation with child, parents and early years practitioner at the setting of your choice

  • Development of a learning programme

  • Short intervention with child by Qualified Feuerstein Mediator to model Mediated Learning, with the possibility of further intervention sessions as appropriate

  • Parents and early years practitioner invited to attend sessions

  • Support and advice on training for parents and early years practitioners

Each intervention is delivered by a fully qualified Mediator using appropriate Mediated Learning and Instrumental Enrichment tools within school, community or home settings.

We strongly believe that communication and sharing good practice are key for the success of our interventions and therefore always invite teachers, learning support assistants or parents to attend our sessions.
