Breakthrough Learning is now live on The Good Exchange

Breakthrough Learning’s funding application for a building has been accepted on to The Good Exchange platform. Owned by Greenham Trust, this is a fabulous platform that enables charitable projects, donors and fundraisers to work together. Put simply, it is an online site where those seeking funds can find those with funds to donate.

Why do we need a building?

We are getting busy!

Until now, we have managed to work with children in volunteers’ homes, educational settings and in children’s’ own homes. These settings are often not ideal with family life in a home creating distractions and limited quiet space available in schools and nurseries. A dedicated building to which we can invite children to attend interventions, run training sessions for parents, carers, teachers and support staff and co-ordinate our own team is essential as we continue to grow.

We will, of course, still visit pupils in schools as appropriate, but we have got to the stage where we really need our own space too.

Being a part of The Good Exchange is a great way to get our cause noticed by potential donors and fundraisers. But we are busy raising our own funds through a variety of channels including:

We have also applied to be part of Greenham Trust’s Pitch to the Panel that will be held 8 May 2019. Fingers-crossed we get selected to participate!

And look out for more news about our fundraising ball this Autumn – it’s going to be a great night!
